A wnaiff y Gweinidog Cabinet roi'r wybodaeth ddiweddaraf am statws argymhelliad 13 y Grŵp Cynghori Gweinidogol i gasglu a chyhoeddi data perfformiad manylach ar lefel tiwmor o ddechrau blwyddyn ariannol 2026-27, a dderbyniwyd gan lywodraeth flaenorol Cymru?
The previous administration committed to collecting and publishing sub-tumour level performance data as part of a wider cancer data development roadmap. The roadmap was commissioned by the National Cancer Leadership Board in March 2025 and approved by the Board in December 2025.
Digital Health and Care Wales presented implementation options to the Board in February and April 2026. The preferred option was then discussed with NHS Directors of Digital on 6 May, and work is underway to identify the data governance and linkages that will be required to achieve this as part of the requirements in the forthcoming National Cancer Plan.
Delivery of the cancer data development roadmap has also been included in Digital Health and Care Wales’ remit letter for 2026-27.
