The NHS Wales App is being developed as a distinct service, reflecting Welsh policy, legal and technical requirements, including bilingual provision and integration with national systems in Wales. While I have not had direct discussions with NHS England, my officials engage with counterparts in England as appropriate and draw on relevant learning from the NHS App in England to inform development.
Although the two apps are separate products, we will continue to pursue appropriate alignment where this adds value, including through common standards and interoperability approaches that support safe information sharing and the delivery of services. (Saesneg yn unig)
