Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is currently working with procurement to appoint a contractor to carry out the reinstatement of the main entrance at Wrexham Maelor Hospital. A completion timetable will be confirmed once the contractor has been appointed. As the replacement doors are bespoke, the lead-in time will need to be fully assessed and agreed by the Health Board. All future hospital infrastructure and repair works have to be considered in the context of the £1.4bn NHS Estate maintenance backlog inherited from the previous administration. (Saesneg yn unig)
