We are working closely with Public Health Wales, Welsh health boards, local authorities and the UK Government to ensure a coordinated and proportionate response to the hantavirus outbreak.
Public Health Wales is leading the response in Wales under the Communicable Disease Outbreak Control Plan arrangements. Robust arrangements are in place to support the health and wellbeing of Welsh contacts, including support to isolate safely and access to appropriate healthcare if needed.
The risk to the Welsh public remains very low. We will continue to keep the situation under close review and will take any further action required in line with the latest public health advice. (Saesneg yn unig)
