As a newly elected government, we are committed to working with Transport for Wales (TfW) on improving connectivity for people across Wales as part of a modern integrated transport network.
TfW are progressing plans to increase service frequency on the Vale of Glamorgan line, initially during peak times with a full uplift throughout the day delivered by next year.
Delivery will be dependent on fleet availability and infrastructure requirements, which TfW are actively working through with Network Rail and Vale of Glamorgan. A further update will be provided when those plans have been confirmed. (Saesneg yn unig)
