The Welsh Government has modernised its transport grants by merging several funding streams into a single Regional Transport Fund, streamlining processes for local authorities and enabling coordinated regional investment decisions. A full list of funded schemes can be located on our Regional transport grants awarded 2026 to 2027 in which this highlights a total of £115.9 million has been awarded to local authorities. Individual footpath maintenance budgets are determined locally by Powys County Council. (Saesneg yn unig)
