Usage is assessed through national activity and claims data, including the Welsh Government’s annual eye care statistics release.
Clinical outcomes are monitored through referral quality, advice from Wales General Ophthalmic Services national clinical leads, and assurance via the Eye Care Wales committee, supported by Health Education and Improvement Wales on workforce capability. (Saesneg yn unig)
