The Welsh Government regularly meets with the UK government to discuss ongoing trade negotiations and ensure Welsh interests are represented, including the negotiations under the UK-US Economic Prosperity deal.
While the Welsh Government cannot comment on open negotiations, I can assure the Member that key topics such as steel are discussed. The First Minister also recently met with the Prime Minister and issued a Written Statement highlighting the importance of improving the trading environment for UK Steel. (Saesneg yn unig)
