Sut mae polisi prentisiaethau presennol Llywodraeth Cymru yn cyd-fynd â'r amcanion a'r targedau a nodir yn Cymraeg 2050?
The Welsh Government’s current Apprenticeships Policy Statement sets out our commitment to a high‑quality, responsive and inclusive skills system that supports learners to train and work in their communities through the medium of Welsh. The policy highlights the role of apprenticeships in building a stronger, fairer and more equal Wales, supporting priority sectors, enabling smooth progression across post‑16 pathways, and contributing to our wider economic and linguistic goals.
Medr have confirmed that the new apprenticeship programme being developed for 2027 will include actions to expand Welsh‑medium provision and strengthen assessment through the medium of Welsh, reflecting Medr’s strategic commitment to increasing Welsh‑medium delivery across the sector.
Together, these measures ensure that apprenticeship policy directly supports the long‑term ambitions of Cymraeg 2050, including increasing the use of Welsh in workplaces and expanding access to Welsh‑medium vocational and technical training across Wales. (Saesneg yn unig)
