The Royal College of Psychiatrists, NHS Wales and the third sector are working together to consider the landscape of eating disorder services across Wales. This will be used to undertake a modelling exercise to assess capacity and demand and consider newer and emerging service models, including day services.
Our long-term aim is to provide early intervention to prevent the need for escalation to more specialist services.
The development of a prioritised capital and estates plan is a key action in the first delivery plan of the Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy. (Saesneg yn unig)
