This question has been transferred to me from the Cabinet Secretary for Economy, Energy and Planning as responsibility for blight applications in relation to roads schemes lies with my department.
Blight applications may be submitted by individuals who believe their property is directly affected by a published route. I announced the preferred route for Llandeilo on 29 February 2024 and the TR111 was published on 26 April 2024.
The statutory provisions governing Blight Notices are outlined in sections 149-171 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990. Town and Country Planning Act 1990 .
Should an individual not meet the criteria for a statutory Blight Notice, sections 246(2A) and 246(2) of the Highways Act 1980 offer alternative options for discretionary purchase in certain circumstances. Highways Act 1980
