Due to environmental factors, there was a delay to National Highways programme to mitigate the rockfall. This delay has extended National Highways work programme and the completion of the works is now due in the first quarter of 2026.
Project managers for the National Highways Leys Bends scheme, along with those overseeing potentially affected maintenance schemes on our network, are in regular communication. They are effectively managing traffic management interfaces to ensure smooth operations.
