Pryd y disgwylir i'r bil drafft ar ddiwygio tacsis gael ei gyhoeddi?
The draft Taxi and Private Hire Vehicle (PHV) Bill will not be published during this Senedd term. The Bill will be a consideration for the next Welsh Government. In advance of legislation, we are working closely with local authorities and other stakeholders (including driver representatives) to develop new national standards. These will be made available initially to local authorities for voluntary use, so that they can be piloted, tested and, if necessary, refined before being made mandatory at a later point. Similarly, in response to calls from the sector and taxi & PHV users, we have been developing new driver training material for voluntary use by local authorities. We are aiming to launch both of these products early next year.
