Ynni Cymru is providing funding and technical support to community organisations and SMEs on the implementation of Smart Local Energy Systems. Trydan Gwyrdd Cymru is developing a portfolio of utility-scale power generation projects, primarily wind power on the Welsh Government woodland estate. Though the remit and responsibilities of the two organisations are distinct, their respective management teams meet frequently on areas of mutual interest, along with the Welsh Government Energy Service and Community Energy Wales.
