The Welsh Government has partnered with Water Safety Wales and the Royal Society for the prevention of Accidents (ROSPA) and committed over £150,000 on water safety.
Furthermore, Visit Wales works closely with partners such as Adventure Smart to promote outdoor safety to both consumers and the tourism industry. It shares safety-themed content throughout the year—particularly during peak periods—and hosts comprehensive web content that offer practical advice and direct people to appropriate locations and accredited providers.
Visit Wales also partners with the RNLI to share safety advice with the public and works with the wider tourism industry to encourage businesses to act as water safety ambassadors, helping to spread key messages to visitors.
