I would like to assure you we are keen to get this work started, however there are some issues which we are working through, and as such the start of work has been delayed.
The provision of a controlled pedestrian crossing at this location has been complicated in terms of design and meeting technical requirements. To do this a bus stop needs to be moved and new traffic lights positioned to ensure adequate visibility is provided to both pedestrians and road users.
I will update you once there is a confirmed start date for this work.
