There is no intention to develop a biodegradable standard for flushable and non-plastic wet wipes.
The Welsh Government supports water industry campaigns, such as Welsh Water’s Stop the Block campaign, which encourages the disposal of wet wipes, cotton buds and sanitary products in bins.
