Welsh Government officials are in regular contact with all institutions and have in recent months spoken to members of the senior management team regarding consultation proposals.
Since taking up my appointment I have met with all Vice Chancellors individually, and as set out in my written statement to the Senedd on 3 March, the First Minister and I have met with all Vice Chancellors collectively to discuss our programme of higher education reform which is essential to secure the longer-term financial sustainability of our universities.
