Visit Wales supported the Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal Adventure Triangle project with £2.75m of ERDF and Welsh Government funding from the Tourism Attractor Destination programme. The aim of the project was to develop outdoor recreation, tourism and leisure activity along the Monmouthshire & Brecon canal and it was completed in 2022.
Promotion of canals (including the Monmouthshire and Brecon canal) also feature within Visit Wales’ marketing activity, including website content, social media promotion, travel trade and PR.
