Pa ystyriaeth sydd wedi'i rhoi i wneud Abergele yn ganolbwynt i gyllid adfywio Llywodraeth Cymru?
We are working closely with Conwy Council, Cartrefi Conwy and Grŵp Llandrillo Menai on a transformative project proposal to redevelop the former Bee Hotel site in Abergele town centre into an innovative educational hub, as part of a wider Abergele Western Gateway site scheme. The project will bring new opportunities for learning and the local community, directly to the town’s high street.
In advance of this, we have awarded Transforming Towns funding to Cartrefi Conwy to create a new public communal green space on a corner of the site, which also provides a means to engage with the wider community on future plans.
My officials continue to work in partnership with Conwy Council to identify opportunities within the town centre in line with their Placemaking Plan.
