There were 164 children and young people from Wales placed in care homes or supported living in England on 31 March 2024. This includes children placed in homes subject to regulations covering a care home service for children and hostels and supportive residential settings other than a care home service for children. Children looked after exclusively under a series of short breaks have been excluded.
