We have a regular meeting with local authority education safeguarding leads where we discuss emerging issues and areas of concern. No concerns about rape or grooming gangs have been raised with us as part of our regular discussions. If they were we would immediately report them to the relevant authorities.
The next meeting with local authorities will be later this month and I have asked my officials to raise this at that meeting.
