Welsh Government funding to the University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) in the last 3 financial years has been primarily via HEFCW (now Medr), and not directly allocated by Welsh Government.

The UWTSD was allocated £5.60m by HEFCW in 2022/23, £5.90m by HEFCW in 2023/24 and £5.06m by HEFCW in 2024/25. These are academic year allocations made by HEFCW for core research and teaching provision. Further information on these, or any other grants provided directly by HEFCW can be provided by Medr.

The UWTSD has also been a recipient of a range of smaller grants from Welsh Government. Since 2021 these grants have averaged £2.6m a year, with the majority of funding provided for education related projects including teacher training, curriculum and assessment reform, and education resources. A full breakdown of these Welsh Government grants can be provided at a later date if this level of information is required.
