Welsh Government funding for the arts is channelled through the Arts Council of Wales (ACW) who operate at arm’s length from Government, although within the strategic framework that we provide.
ACW fund community choirs via delegated funding of £292,500 in 2024-25 to Tŷ Cerdd, to which community choirs are eligible to apply for support. Community choirs can also apply directly to ACW’s ‘Create’ National Lottery Arts Funding Programme.
