The Welsh Government wrote to Climate Cymru in August 2023, acknowledging their manifesto ideas.
Welsh Government officials continue to engage directly with Climate Cymru to consider their proposals around a range of topics linked to net zero. For example, they were closely involved in the shaping of the Climate Action Wales public engagement strategy and also in the consultation on the Just Transition Framework | GOV.WALES. Climate Cymru also proactively engage in Welsh Government programmes, most recently holding 3 of their own events during Wales Climate Week 2024.
