The revised guidance was published in May 2023 for implementation in the 2023/24 academic year. Now a year on, officials are reviewing the impact of the revised guidance and will assess whether there has been an increase in the creation and use of school uniform recycling schemes in schools and community organisations across Wales.
Following the publication of the revised guidance, we also included a signposting webpage on the Welsh Government website to highlight examples of good practice relating to school uniform exchange and recycling schemes across Wales.
