Pryd fydd Llywodraeth Cymru yn gweithredu pwll cyflenwi cenedlaethol sy'n gwbl weithredol ar gyfer athrawon?
In May 2023, we procured a national booking platform - the National Supply Pool for Wales - to enable schools to source and book supply staff directly. The booking elements of the platform were rolled out within Ynys Môn initially in November 2023. While initial feedback has been positive, there remain several barriers to achieve full nationwide implementation. The Welsh Government convened a summit with all interested stakeholders to consider the options for next steps and whether further roll out can deliver the intended benefits of employment in line with the School Teachers Pay and Conditions (Wales) Document (STPC(W)D) and provide access to the Teacher Pension Scheme. I am giving careful consideration to the options and will update Members in due course.
