The National Living Wage is a reserved matter. The Low Pay Commission (LPC) is the independent body that advises the UK Government on both the National Minimum Wage and the National Living Wage. It consults with stakeholders, including businesses, trade unions, and other parties, and publishes research and analysis on the impacts on the economy, businesses, and the labour market.
