The completion of Transport for Wales’ New Fleet Programme was delayed due to manufacturing issues and delays in the Core Valley Lines Transformation Programme.
Further to WQ89224, Transport for Wales have made significant progress on accepting and introducing new fleet in the last 12 months. From the December 2024 Timetable Change TfW will be operating 60% of their services on new fleet.
