CCTV footage from the A458 Welshpool to Shrewsbury road near Middletown has been recently submitted to the North and Mid Wales Trunk Road Agent (NMWTRA) for validation. Once this footage has been reviewed, we will be in a better position to provide a more detailed update, including a timeline for the study's completion.
In parallel, NMWTRA is working closely with Dyfed Powys Police to obtain non-injury collision data, while also compiling information on incidents requiring clean-up or repairs. This additional data will help provide a fuller understanding of the situation.
