In November 2022 CILIP were awarded a £135,000 multi-year grant to deliver their proposal “Anti-racist library collections; a training plan for public libraries in Wales”, as part of the Anti-Racist Wales Culture, Heritage and Sport Grant for the Local Sector.
As part of this grant, CILIP commissioned Laurel Research Consulting to carry out work on its behalf, which included the production of two reports:
Inclusive Futures: a training model for anti-racist collections in Wales and Inclusive Futures: a guide for anti-racist library collections in Wales.
