The data is currently not available, due to data being held in unlinked datasets (the Children receiving care and support census, and HESA). The evaluation of the Diamond reforms in Wales will examine the impact of the reforms on widening access to higher education. As part of this, the evaluation will aim to include the experiences and perceptions of higher education from a broad range of learners, including those who have care experience and will explore the feasibility of linking key datasets.
