The South Wales Metro More Trains More Choice leaflets are an important element within the overall communication plan by TfW to ensure passenger were well-informed prior to and following the June timetable change.
A total of 164,748 leaflets were printed, 12,000 A5 leaflets were printed for events and handing out at stations and 152,748 door-drop leaflets were printed and sent to households. The total cost for printing and delivery was £18,677.72. There was no additional cost of paying staff given the leaflets were handed out by staff volunteers at the following stations; Cardiff Queen Street, Cardiff Central, Pontypridd, Aberdare, Rhymney and Barry. The door drop leaflets were delivered within approx.1.5km radius to the following stations:
