I commend the good work that Play it Again Sport is doing to make sport affordable and accessible to thousands of children each year. The organisation is also helping people make greener daily choices when it comes to re-using items  which reduces waste and our consumption of raw materials.

One of our priorities for Sport Wales is delivering a green transformation as part of our commitment to tackle the climate and nature emergency and create a cleaner, greener Wales. Sport Wales is working with bodies such as WRAP Cymru and the Carbon Trust to support the sport sector in finding solutions which help it to transition to a circular economy. This includes interventions such as  re-using and recycling sports kit and equipment.
