The Welsh Government awarded funding of £603k to the Vale of Glamorgan Council to procure a design for a scheme for Llanmaes.
In 2022, we made £2.025m available to the council, who attempted to procure a contractor, but construction costs proved to be significantly higher and would have outweighed the benefits.
We will continue to support the local authority as they seek a cost-effective solution.
