My officials and I regularly meet with international experts and organisations to discuss policy and international best practice in language planning. We do this on an ad-hoc basis as well as through forums such as the British-Irish Council and the Network to Promote Linguistic Diversity. I carefully consider all requests for meetings, and the same would apply if approached by the Endangered Language Alliance (ELA).
