The Welsh Government eight-week diagnostic target relates to the time from referral to the time of the test being undertaken.
In relation to this target, the number of pathways waiting more than eight weeks at Betsi Cadwalader University Health Board for MRI scans has more than halved from 927 (32%) in April 2022 to 407 (16%) in December 2023.
