Big Ideas Wales is available to support young people under 25 years who want to become entrepreneurs and help remove barriers which may stopping them from starting a business. Big Ideas Wales delivers a range of support including webinars and workshops for young people on becoming self-employed, including industry specific workshops. Business advisers are available to provide dedicated support to encourage and inspire young people to start a business.
In addition, our Young Person's Start Up Grant, which has been developed as part of our commitment to the Young Person's Guarantee, offers up to £2,000 per business. This grant targets young people aged 16-24 who are not in education, employment or training to start their own business, create a social enterprise, or become self-employed, a freelancer or social entrepreneur in Wales.
