Creative Wales has a strategic objective of growing the Games industry. In 2023 we announced support for Rocket Science, a US based games business specialising in technical services to major studios. They are already employing 13 staff in Cardiff. In March 2024 we will take several studios to the annual Games Developer Conference in San Francisco where they will be located with representatives of Creative Wales at the heart of the trade show. We continue to encourage both new indigenous businesses and inward investment utilising production funding and capital funding where appropriate.
