The South Wales Fire and Rescue Authority (Exercise of Functions) (Wales) Directions 2024 set out that the remuneration of the Commissioners in relation to the exercise of the authority’s functions is at the rate of £550 per day, plus the reimbursement of reasonable expenses. These costs will be met by South Wales Fire and Rescue Authority.
