The Disability Resource Centre is an independent registered charity which provides adaptations to motor vehicles and sale and hire of mobility aids. Welsh Government was not informed of the intention to close the service at the Glan Clwyd hospital. Although the Centre was based on the site of Glan Clwyd hospital it was not an NHS service and was not a part of the hospital services.
