Within the Retail Action Plan, developed with the sector, there is an action about tackling crime and the need to work in partnership with the police and other agencies to assist retailers and importantly protect workers. As part of this ongoing action, I regularly meet with the sector through the Retail Forum to discuss the range of issues faced by the sector. In October, I attended the Forum’s roundtable discussion on retail crime with attendance from North Wales Police and retail representatives.
