The Welsh Government funds Social Care Wales who have put in place guidance and a comprehensive framework for NQSWs entitled First three years in practice (socialcare.wales). This brings together what is expected of social workers and their employers and provides a framework for social work employers to develop their own model of support for the first three years of a social workers professional practice.
