The Code of Guidance on the allocation of accommodation and homelessness sets out guidance for local authorities on the use and suitability of temporary accommodation. The Code also sets out guidance for local authorities on the Health and Safety Rating System which should be used to assess accommodation, including temporary accommodation offered to households.
Welsh Government continues to work closely with all authorities to ensure the provision of temporary accommodation is both suitable and adequate.
