There is a variation of Urgent Primary Care Centre (UPCC) models funded by the Six Goals Programme across Wales, which include:
- Health Board (HB) Model: 24/7 urgent primary care centres managed by health boards, staffed with a multi-disciplinary team.
- Cluster(s) / Locality Model: Urgent primary care delivered on a cluster (or pan cluster) level, staffed with a local General Practice workforce and some models linked to third sector mental health support.
- Hybrid Model: Both health board and practice / cluster led and delivered in a community hospital.
