The NHS Wales Planning Framework 2022-2025 sets out guidance to health boards in the planning of all health care services, including phlebotomy. I expect health boards to use the Framework in planning service delivery to achieve the visons and commitments of “A Healthier Wales”; ensuring access to care closer to home, using prudent health care principles and value based healthcare.
