Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) play a key role in ensuring patients are seen by the correct clinical team at the right time. Health boards have local protocols regarding their referral processes and AHPs need to use the right processes to secure care for their patients. There were 94,266 referrals to dermatology services between October 2022 and September 2023.
