Welsh Government funding for the arts is channelled through the Arts Council of Wales (ACW) which operates at arm’s length but within the strategic framework we provide.
Individual funding decisions are made by ACW and the Welsh Government does not intervene in these decisions.
ACW wants to support projects that will give people from communities across Wales the opportunity to participate in and enjoy creative activities. ACW can provide funding for projects that engage creative professionals to work with voluntary and community organisations to improve the quality of the arts activity they deliver.
