Beth yw cynlluniau Llywodraeth Cymru ar gyfer ariannu gwasanaethau hydrotherapi i gleifion yng ngogledd Cymru?
Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is responsible for the planning and delivery of hydrotherapy services on behalf of its local population. Patients are assessed on an individual basis for both need and appropriateness. There are strict access criteria for safety reasons, which are based on the guidelines of the Aquatic Therapy Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (ATACP).
Our long-term plan for health and social care, A Healthier Wales, seeks for services to be delivered as close to home as possible. For example, health boards might identify and use available suitable community resources where appropriate to maximise integration in community.
