The Welsh Government Export Action Plan for Wales details the comprehensive programme of support for Welsh businesses to develop their exports, and is delivered working in partnership with key stakeholders, including the Department for Business and Trade. The majority of businesses appointed Export Champions by the UK Government have been supported through these programmes and activities. As part of our Plan, which has been in place since December 2020, the Welsh Government has its own programme of ‘Export Exemplars’ (currently 27 in total), through which we are actively promoting export success to inspire other Welsh businesses to take up exporting.
